I will not be running this blog any longer.
or at least for a very long time. this has nothing to do with anything that has happened on here in particular. I just really feel like I need to focus on myself for a while. try new things. meet new people. and get back to the real world. Day 20: What you think makes someone beautiful
courageisgraceunderpressure:
Numerous traits make someone beautiful to me. Intelligence. Eloquence. Thoughtfulness. Determination. Subtle security. What I really find beautiful is a person that treats themselves well. Someone that cares for their own body and mind, who has self-respect, but at the same time isn’t at all condescending. Basically, someone who is most of the things that our society...

you’ve got a mouth and a brain for a reason, think before you speak.

It only gives them the satisfaction and encouragement to come back again. So yeah, you look awesome :) Ignore that coward. XO

I started freaking out, crying and screaming that I would never eat again, and asked her...

stats behind the benefits of strength training:
The increased energy expenditure that it takes for protein synthesis to repair and build muscle is about 1 to 1.5 calories per pound of all trained muscle tissue. That is, on average, 105 to 120 calories per day!

so in a nutshell:
I skipped my Fitness and Wellness class this morning to do yoga. Is there irony in that?
In doing so I have realized how much stress and tension that I tend to harbor, particularly in my back and neck. I can not tell you how revitalizing it is to feel the oneness that meditation and yoga practices can bring into your life. Please, if you pick up one exercise routine, let it be that. Your mind is...
